HOW IT WORKS
Important first step. Reflecting what your business does is key. We balance what's significant for you as the employer as well as what will attract your future apprentice.
We're so passionate about making sure the apprentice is making progress that we keep in touch with them throughout their apprenticeship programme. We provide feedback and address any issues when they arise.
Candidates meeting your criteria will be telephone interviewed by us and invited to an assessment centre if successful.
We can assist with finding the right apprenticeship programme and training provider if you need help and it's all included in our fee.
This is a pivotal part of our service. It's hard to make a decision based on an interview alone. Identifying potential and attitude is our remit. We run assessment centres on company premises and supply all the assessment tools relevant to the role, and you keep control of the process.
We charge a flat, fixed fee payable once we’ve found the ideal candidate for you and a position offered.
How the seed was set
At the start of the Covid 19 pandemic our founder and chief allium, Sarah Cripps, found herself in lockdown in Monmouthshire for several months. She quickly fell in love with Wales, the sense of community and the lush greenery. Realising that a bespoke apprenticeship recruitment service was not available in Wales she was inspired to set up Spring Onion Apprenticeships; a sister company to her well-established apprenticeship business, Salad Skills, England. Sarah has now established home roots too in Monmouth.
